Academic Project | Interior Design II | 2023

This luxury vacation home in Lake Tahoe, NV serves as a place for relaxation, creativity, and entertainment for actor Nick Offerman. Inspired by a 1960s lakeside log cabin, Grizzly Lodge feels energetic, warm, and nostalgic. It is  full of character and personal touches, providing custom spaces such as a workshop, an oversized patio, and the feature space, “The Bear Cave”, in the basement for entertaining guests. Materials used reflect the client’s passion for nature, and connecting indoor and outdoor spaces encourages users to explore the surroundings. Using a dynamic composition and vibrant colors, the space creates an escape from everyday life.
